Terms of Service

Welcome to Quizzard, a multiplayer quiz platform operated by Maru Studios ("we", "us"). By accessing quizzard.in or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Your account

You need an account to host quizzes. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, obscene, or infringes anyone's rights.
• Impersonate others or use misleading nicknames or avatars.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or overload the service.
• Scrape or bulk-download quiz content, participant data, or leaderboards.
• Use Quizzard to send spam or run gambling/prize schemes without our written consent.

We may suspend or remove accounts and content that violate these rules.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of quizzes, questions, images, and other content you upload ("Your Content"). You grant Quizzard a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and process Your Content solely to operate the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content and images you upload.

4. Gameplay & fair play

Hosts control their sessions, including question pacing and when to advance. Scores are calculated based on correctness and speed. We make no guarantee that leaderboards are free of manipulation and hosts should moderate their own sessions.

5. Service availability

We work to keep Quizzard fast and reliable, but the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quizzard and Maru Studios are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the service.

7. Termination

You can stop using Quizzard at any time and delete your account from your dashboard. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use of Quizzard after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of India, unless local law requires otherwise.
